Solar Power System
Solar power systems are a sustainable and efficient way to harness the sun's energy for electricity. These systems can be broadly categorized into off-grid, grid-tied, and hybrid configurations.
Off-grid solar systems are standalone power solutions for areas not connected to the main power grid. They typically consist of photovoltaic (PV) panels, batteries for energy storage, a charge controller to manage the flow of electricity, and an inverter to convert DC power to AC for household use. These systems are ideal for remote locations where extending the grid is not feasible. They provide independence from utility companies and can be scaled to meet the energy needs of homes, businesses, or communities.
On-grid systems, are connected to the utility grid. These systems consist of PV panels and an inverter, with no battery storage.
Hybrid solar systems combine the features of both off-grid and grid-tied systems. They use PV panels, an inverter, and battery storage, allowing them to operate both independently and in conjunction with the grid. During periods of grid power availability, they can draw from the grid or feed excess power back, while during outages, they can rely on stored energy in batteries.
